CREATIVE HABITS MENTORSHIP
Yes, I am most definitely a serious and dedicated introvert, happy to spend hours alone in my studio working on paintings or otherwise meandering about my house "doing stuff". BUT, I also find joy in trying to help people sort out their callings and implement small changes in their lives. This is one way I can connect with other humans and make a positive difference.
Every single human being has things they want to do. And with that desire comes challenges. Trying to solve the problems we encounter as we follow our callings makes us grow, change, improve, prioritize, ask for help, forge relationships, make memories, and tell stories. It makes life interesting!
To this end, I believe that structure and habits can make a big difference, especially if the thing you are pursuing is elusive or has a long horizon (like writing a novel or composing a contemporary piece of music), and they, along with our interests and circumstances, evolve. It can be difficult to weed through all of the productivity methods and philosophies out there. It's easy to get over-inspired and overwhelmed. One way to avoid this and make inroads towards things and experiences that we want is to set up SIMPLE structures, grounded in what we value and what we want out of life.
Creative Habits mentorship involves one-on-one discussions where we develop personalized strategies to improve your creative habits. And, when I say "creative", it can be ANY personal project that you want to CREATE. Artist, non-artist or somewhere in between, I will help you build structure by identifying the tools and habits that work best for you.
